In this episode, I talk through my ideas on teaching a “Media First Generation” and why we in education need to think differently when it comes to engaging them in meaningful work that speaks to their media first brains.

I love this episode! My daughters and I have been discussing our differences between gen z and hen x
They h and you have given me so much insight on what my students need to become engaged. I am always amazed by the product and process when I take the leap off the teacher guide and into their world. Trusting them with their passions is a rewarding experience for all of us. Thank s!

Thanks and glad you enjoyed this episode. I also enjoyed chatting with you and your girls about this in person. When we have students access the world we need to understand that the world becomes the curriculum and this is an amazing time in history to be an educator. Thanks for listening!
